Carlos Sainz honoured at the 36th Trophées de L’Automobile
Presented by Guillemette Payen, the president of Motor Presse France, the 36th Trophées de L’Automobile ceremony took place on 18 June at La Villa restaurant, right in the heart of Paris.
Among those receiving awards was Carlos Sainz, the winner of the Trophée de la Révélation Sportive, presented to the year’s outstanding breakthrough driver. With the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion and Toro Rosso Formula One driver unable to attend the event, Renault Sport Technologies Managing Director Patrice Ratti stepped up to collect it on his behalf.
Renault Twingo and Renault Espace also won awards in the Best Small Car and Best MPV categories.
