Carlos Sainz to star in F1 show at Motorland Aragon
Since the launch of the World Series by Renault in 2005, more than five million racing fans have thrilled to the sound of Renault Sport F1-powered Formula One cars. And just as it did last year, the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team will be sending an RB8 to every round of the 2015 WSR campaign, starting with the opening meeting of the year at Motorland Aragon in Spain.
Starring in the first Infiniti Red Bull Racing F1 Show of what is WSR’s 11th season will be none other than Spanish driver Carlos Sainz.
The winner of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup in 2011, the runner-up in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 that very season, and the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion, with seven wins and seven poles in 17 races, the 20-year-old Carlos Sainz is now starring with the Scuderia Toro Rosso in Formula One, and was in among the points in Australia and Malaysia in the first two grands prix of his career.
