Front row for Josef Kaufmann Racing in Budapest
The front row of the grid for Sunday’s race at the Hungaroring will belong to German team Josef Kaufmann Racing, who will have Louis Delétraz on pole for the fourth time this season, with fellow Swiss Kevin Jörg alongside him. Jake Hughes (Koiranen GP) and Jack Aitken (Koiranen GP) will start behind them on the second row, followed by rookie Harrison Scott (AVF).
Group B
Vasily Romanov (Cram Motorsport) and Lasse Sørensen (Manor MP Motorsport) were the first drivers to set a time, with Kevin Jörg and Jack Aitken then trading places at the top. The Swiss moved back in front before closing out the session in 1:41.484 to lead from Jack Aitken, Anthoine Hubert (Tech 1 Racing), Thiago Vivacqua (JD Motorsport) and Vasily Romanov.

A polesitter on Saturday Louis Delétraz did not take long to beat his compatriot’s benchmark, stopping the clock at 1:41.256 on his second lap and ending the session 0.459 seconds clear of Jake Hughes, with Harrison Scott in third, followed by Matevos Isaakyan (JD Motorsport) and Martin Kodrić (Fortec Motorsports).
Sunday’s race gets under way at 14.30.

Louis Delétraz : “Everything’s gone really well this weekend. I was on pole yesterday and what happened during the race was my fault. I had to apologise to the team and I tried to do my very best to pull out a big lap. The car was superb, I was on form and that’s what made the difference. It’s up to me to finish the job off now.”
