Max Verstappen in the F1 Show at Spa-Francorchamps
Max Verstappen, the new star of the Formula One World Championship, will be making a guest appearance at the second World Series by Renault meeting of the 2015 season at Spa-Francorchamps.
The young Dutchman will be starring in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing F1 Show, taking to the wheel of the Red Bull Racing RB8, which is powered by the Renault Sport F1 RS27 engine.
Following a fine career in karting, Max Verstappen spent just one season in single-seater racing before becoming, at the age of 17, the youngest ever driver to line up on the Formula One start grid, a feat he achieved with Scuderia Toro Rosso at this year’s Australian Grand Prix. Not content with that, the rookie then went on to become F1’s most precocious points-scorer of all time, at the Malaysian Grand Prix in March.
Born in the Belgian town of Hasselt, less than 100 kilometres from Spa-Francorchamps, the Dutch driver will be performing exhibition drives in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing F1 Show on both days of the meeting, which takes place on 30-31 May. He will also be in the paddock and attending autograph sessions throughout the weekend.
