The Renault Sandero R.S. makes another fleeting appearance in Brazil
Renault made the most of the third stage of the Brazilian Brands Championship “Copa Petrobras de Marcas”, which took place on Sunday on the Curitiba track in Paraná state, to offer another glimpse of Renault Sport’s Sandero R.S.
A camouflaged prototype made a few laps around the track to open the race. The car showed off its sporty personality to 42,000 fans, which included some 3,500 Renault employees and their families who came out to see the weekend race.
Three lucky people won a raffle for a chance to ride in the prototype alongside a renowned professional driver from Brazil for a lap around the track. A video of their experience was posted on social media for the occasion.
The Renault Sandero R.S. is a compact sports car designed by Renault Sport to meet the expectations of Latin American car lovers. It is modelled on the Renault Sandero, produced in Curitiba, Brazil, at the Ayrton Senna plant.
This new sports car from the Renault Sport range will be fully revealed on 18 June at the Buenos Aires International Motor Show (Argentina).
