Ten years without F1™, that’s enough to put on a show ! The loyal fans met up at Base Camp R.S. just a few metres from Circuit Paul Ricard. Joined throughout the weekend by other aficionados and many curious, they had an incredible time, taking part in the activities set up by Renault Sport.

While some strolled about to get a close up look at the unprecedented exhibition that reunited Renault’s historic Renault F1™ and show cars like the R. 2027 Vision, others paid close attention in the technical workshops run by our experts. It is quite possible that a few career choices were influenced among the youngest visitors !

Between visits to the food trucks, the more adventrous decided to get involved – or almost ! – with the Virtual Reality. In parallel, an exclusive autograph session permitted the crowd to meet the Renault Sport Formula One Team drivers : Carlos Sainz, Nico Hülkenberg and two legends forever linked to Renault Sport : Alain Prost and Jean Ragnotti.

On Sunday June 24, the party was at its apex with thousands of fans all dressed in yellow gathered on the pit straight to attend an exceptional parade as the curtain raiser for the Grand Prix. Just moments before the start, while the French national anthem echoed, the Gold Tribune was covered by a giant choreographed display in the colours of the Renault Sport Formula One Team before the long-awaited race.
