Customer Racing Activities – 2025/#36
Twists and turns in Clio Trophy Portugal, titles in the Czech Republic and numerous victories and podium finishes around the world : Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 ended the summer on a high note on the special stages !
Clio Cup Series
The Clio Cup Series returned to Circuit Ricardo Tormo for the antepenultimate round of the calendar. While Anthony Jurado and Damiano Puccetti secured another brace of wins for Rangoni Corse, David Pouget (GPA Racing) extended his lead in the general classification. The weekend also saw Loïc Labeda (GM Sport) and Nicolas Milan (Milan Compétition) share the honours in Clio Cup España, as did Nikola Tošić (Rangoni Corse) and Aurélien Renet (JSB Compétition) in Clio Cup Mid-Europe.
Clio Trophy Portugal
After round three of its inaugural season, Clio Trophy Portugal is more than ever wide-open. João Rodrigues and Bruno Carvalho were heading for another victory, but a dramatic turn of events in the final special stage saw Tiago and Fernando Pereira take the win at Rali da Água Transibérico Eurocidade Chaves-Verín. Despite podium finishes for Luís Caetano and David Monteiro, and Carlos Marreiros and Ricardo Barreto, João Rodrigues still leads the general classification ahead of the Rali Vidreiro Centro de Portugal (17-18 October).
Bulgarian Rally Championship
Clio Rally5 won at Rally Dryanovo, the Bulgarian Rally Championship season-opener. Petar Yordanov and Lyubka Yordanova dominated their rivals on the Bulgarian tarmac to win the RC5 class and finish sixth overall. The duo led a class one-two finish, ahead of Dinko Ivanov and Yavor Brankov.
Czech Republic Rally Championship
Filip Ocelka and Tomáš Plachý finished runners-up in the two-wheel drive and RC4 I categories, finishing ahead of the championship leader at the Invelt Rally Pačejov to snatch both titles with Clio Rally4, three years after the driver’s RC5 crown with Clio Rally5. Co-driven by Petr Cibulka, Jakub Kořínek completed his grand slam with a sixth victory from six rounds to secure the national RC5 title with Clio Rally5.
Danish Rally Championship
Renault also set the pace in Denmark at Rally Midtsjælland. Jacob Leutenberger Madsen and Line Nedergaard led an RC3 one-two finish in their Clio Rally3. Clio Rally5 locked out the top eight spots in RC5, led by Jacob Egholm and Rikke Pilgaard Petersen. They now lead the Dansk Super Rally ahead of the season finale at Rally Stoholm (10-11 October).
Uruguayan Rally Championship
Clio Rally5 claimed its third overall victory of the year on the national scene with a resounding sweep of the top five on the gravel at Rally Sierras del Yerbal. Despite several cars from superior categories, Federico Quintela and Joaquín Varela were joined by Alfonso López - Martín Villete and Pablo Cuadrado - Mauricio Altez on a podium monopolised by Renault, which is now more than ever in the thick of the title race.
French Rally Cup
Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 scored numerous double victories : Guillaume Tardy − Caroline Puel and Clément Chareyron − Pierre-Olivier Porte at Rallye du Haut-Lignon ; Allison Viano − Mallaury Sola and Brice Droulin − Guillaume Tapias at Rallye du Pays de Fayence ; Luigi Moretti − Serena Soavi and Anthony Dominici − Christophe Andreani at Rallye de Corte, and Ludovic Lemoine − Antoine Brument and Bruno Alix − Jonathan Dovin at Rallye d’Envermeu.
Still in France, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 won at the Rallye de la Vie, with Thierry Landais - Kelly Ruchaud and Hugo Mathey - Matthieu Chartier, while Clio Rally5 also won with Nicolas Lods - Alex Richard at Rallye du Suran, Julien Borderie - Benoît Serres at Rallye du Pays de Saint-Yrieix and Patrice Vigouroux - Julien Bouvier at Rallye des Camisards.
German Rally Cup
Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 continued their superb run in the DMSB Rally Cup at the ADAC Kohle & Stahl Rally. Max Schumann and Ann Felke finished second overall and first in RC4. Felix Schumann and Gino Kruhs secured fourth place, completing a one-two finish for the model, while Alexander Kazmierzak and Max Decker finished sixth, leading an all Clio Rally5 podium in RC5. Max Schumann now sits second in the general classification and leads the DMSB Rally Cup Pirelli and DMSB Rally Cup Renault Sindermann.
And elsewhere…
Clio Rally3 kept impressing in Europe and South America, securing two more overall victories. Mikko Nevalainen and Petri Silvennoinen won the Jari-Pekka Ralli (Finland), while Carlos Fernández and Manuel Núñez dominated Rally Hornillos (Peru).
Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 also set the pace at Rally 1000 Miglia (Italy) with Stefano Roncadori and Ludmilla Nania, and Alessandro Corsini and Jessica Rosa. Other double wins occurred in Italy, with the Scalzotto brothers at the Rally Città di Schio, Ernesto Riolo - Giulia Marin and Michele Cortese - Paolo Guttadauro at the Tindari Rally, as well as Simone Sabatella - Nancy Dragonetti and Marco Arcifera - Thomas Trombetta at the Rally del Rubinetto.
Meanwhile, Clio Rally3 won in the 4/13 class with Kenny Herbillon and Antoine Micha at the Critérium Jean-Louis Dumont (Belgium), while Sebastian Butyński and Łukasz Jastrzębski secured a class podium in the European Rally Trophy round contested at Rajd Śląska (Poland).
Clio Rally4 was not to be outdone, with Simon Andersson and Josefin Ingvarsson taking third place overall and victory in the 2WD A category at TV-Svängen (Sweden), not to mention the success of Xim Ramón and Xavier Cànaves at Rallye Vall de Sant Pere (Spain). Lastly, Adrián Chávez and Luis Cristian Pérez scored a class win in their Clio Rally5 at Rally La Palma Isla Bonita (Spain).
