The first title in the Clio Cup Series, all the crowns decided in the Clio Cup France and a national title in Slovakia... Check out the main successes of the weekend for the fifth generation of Clio in customer racing !
Clio Cup Series
In a massive field of 58 Clio Cups, David Pouget and Gaël Castelli won one race each at Circuit Paul Ricard and will battle for the Clio Cup Series title. Round eight of the season also saw David Pouget claim the Clio Cup France crown, as did Mickaël Carrée in the Gentlemen category. However, the latter was unable to prevent rival Laurent Dziadus from clinching his debut European title in the same category. Everything remains to play for in Clio Cup Italia and Clio Cup Mid-Europe at the season finale at Monza (17-19 October).

European Rally Championship
Hubert Kowalczyk and Jarosław Hryniuk scored another European podium result for Clio Rally3 at the Croatia Rally to finish ERC3 runners-up. The event also hosted the penultimate round of the Croatian Championship, with Luka Latinović and Matija Labaš winning in the RC4 category and finishing second in Class 1 in their Clio Rally4. Marko Fakin and Aleksandar Radovčić were victorious in Class 2 with their Clio Rally5 and will defend their lead in the general classification in the final round of the season at the Međimurski Rally (24-26 October).
Greek Gravel Rally Championship
The Fthinoporino Rally hosted round three of the calendar, where Nikolaos Vigopoulos and Dimitrios Sainis won six of the seven special stages in their class to take the win, while also securing an impressive fourth place overall in their Clio Rally3. Athanasios Athanasoulas and Vasileios Basioukas dominated all the timed sections of the course in C6 to win with Clio Rally5.
Slovak Rally Championship
Artur Długosz and Mateusz Martynek took top honours in their category with Clio Rally3 and finished sixth overall at the Rosenberg Rally Moldava. The Polish duo mathematically secured the national title ahead of the final round of the season. The asphalt roads also saw a class double for Clio Rally5 with Miroslav Slamčík − Karel Báťa and Stanislav Zeman − Ján Konfal, who will battle for the title at Rally Liptov (24-25 October).
French Rally Cup
Arthur Pelamourgues and Bastien Pouget were in contention for the overall victory in their Clio Rally3 at Rallye d’Automne Charente-Maritime until they retired in SS7. Clio Rally3 did however win its class with Anthony Faucher and Renaud Desmereau. On the same roads, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 also performed well, with a 1-2 finish led by Thomas and Pauline Chauffray, 7th overall, as well as success for Benoît Barbier-Rizzi and Kévin Fournier.
Still in France, the Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 both won at Rallye du Plateau Valdahonnais, with Mickaël Caritey and Pauline Chonavel, and Alexandre Beaufils and Alexandre Richert. Finally, Clio Rally5 led the way in its class with Daniel Giovannetti and Angèle Sevillano at Rallye du Midi Toulousain.
And elsewhere…
It was another successful weekend for Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5. All three models triumphed at Rally Città di Pistoia (Italy), with Alessandro Ciardi and Alessandro Tondini (Rally3), Paolo Moricci and Paolo Garavaldi (Rally4), Leonardo Della Nina and Nicola Ricci (Rally5), and Filippo Tonarelli and David Castiglioni (U25).
Still in Italy, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 won their respective classes at Rally Santo Stefano Belbo, with Ennio Bini and Alex Bocciardo and Alessandro Botta and Roberto Aresca. At the Rally del Sebino, both models were victorious with the crews of Giuseppe Bonacina - Emanuele Imberti and Davide Cugini - Giancarla Guzzi.
Clio Rally4 was not to be outdone with a class victory in the Finnish Rally Cup with Vilma Kivenne and Mikko Heikkilä at the Lammi Ralli. The two-wheel drive model also secured a podium finish in the general classification with Max Schumann and Ann Felke finishing second in the ADAC Nibelungen-Rallyesprint (Germany). Last but not least, Clio Rally5 dominated its class with Alexander Kazmierzak and Niclas Zimmer on the same roads.
