From rallycross to iconic rallies across Europe, the fifth-generation Renault Clio continued its winning ways this past weekend.

FFSA French Rallycross Championship

Competing in Clio RX for the Eleven Motorsport team, Ronan Deslandes and Thomas Quincé left their rivals in the dust at Faleyras. 2025 Clio Cup France Junior champion Ronan Deslandes made a strong impression, securing his first rallycross victory to extend the family dynasty as early as round two of the campaign. Thomas Quincé displayed impressive consistency on his way to second place and retains his lead in Division 5, whilst Gautier Sarhy completed the podium. The next round will take place at Châteauroux (20–21 June).

Belgian Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 scored another victory on the Belgian national scene at the Sezoensrally. Xavier Dekeyser and Nele Tassaert dominated their class in round four of the season to secure their second win of 2026, whilst also finishing on the Master Cup podium. Éric Benaets and Stijn Vanderbiesen completed a 1-2 in class for the model.

French Tarmac Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 also shone on home soil at Rallye d’Antibes Côte d’Azur. Allison Viano and Christelle Bou-Meunier led a 1-2 finish for the model in Rally3, whilst also finishing runners-up in the Women’s category. Meanwhile, Pascal and Caroline Bérard led a Clio Rally5 sweep of the top five, whilst Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally6 finished just off the podium in their respective classes with Florian Picchioni - Manon Perrin and Philippe Gonzales - Laurent Gonzales.

Italian Rally Championship

An iconic fixture on the Italian calendar, the Targa Florio saw a clean sweep of stage wins and another victory for Ernesto Riolo and Giulia Marin’s Clio Rally3. Clio Rally5 enjoyed similar success with Davide Nicelli and Martina Bertelegni, as well as Mario Miraglia and Salvatore Alessandra in the CRZ event.

Lithuanian Rally Championship

The gravel stages of Rally Aukštaitija marked the start of the season in Lithuania. Competing in Clio Rally3, Artur Długosz and Mateusz Martynek were consistently featuring among the top three in their class. After setting the fastest time on SS2, the Polish duo went on to finish third in LARČ3.

Romanian Rally Championship

In round three of the season, the Raliul Argeșului, Dragoș Munteanu and Marina Larisa Ciobotea took the lead in the Clio Rally5 Challenge thanks to their victory and the crash suffered by their rivals Sabina Alexandra Ghiormescu and Sándor Csikós. Finishing third in the Newcomer class, the pair also contributed to the model’s double podium finish in RO5.

Spanish Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 won its class at Rallye Ciudad de Utiel, round three of the S-CER. The crew of Tomás Llinares and Daniel Rivera won 11 of the 12 special stages on their way to a top 20 result overall. Petr Turkin and Vasily Mirkotan finished in the top ten of their class with Clio Rally4.

Swedish Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 also starred on the gravel stages of the Nyköping Rally. As the third round of the calendar unfolded, Sweden’s Jonna Eson Brådhe and co-driver Erik Gustafsson gradually found their pace and navigated the course’s challenges to secure third place in the four-wheel-drive class.

French Rally Cup

Renault also secured three class wins at Rallye du Saint-Émilion with Yanis Desangles - Sidoine Perrin (Rally3), Hugo Dénié - Evann Guille (Rally5), and Adrien Condaminas - Morgan Lefebvre (FR6). Alex Gandrieau and Mallaurie Gardrat finished third in their class aboard their Clio Rally4.

On the regional scene, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 led the pack, with Guillaume Halbourg - Geoffrey Vallot and Jérémy Schillewaert - Clémentin Vaireaux at Rallye de Mézidon Vallée d’Auge. Clio Rally5 continued to set the pace with Alfred Sablonnière and Maxime Giraud at Rallye de la Coutellerie et du Tire-Bouchon, Guillaume Lambert and Edith Peredes at Rallye de Printemps Canet, Killian Marry and Adam Thouez at Rallye de la Matheysine, Hugo Mathey and Matthieu Chartier at Rallye de la Vallée du Loir, and Julien Toniutti and Guillaume Duplan at Rallye du Val Dadou.

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 added to their respective trophy cabinets in Italy with victories for Alessandro Gori - Emiliano Ferrigno and Lorenzo Nesti - Alessia Bertagna at Rally degli Abeti e dell’Abetone. Clio Rally3 also triumphed with Thibaud and Charlotte Mazuin at the Rallye Sprint de Haillot (Belgium), as well as with Adrian Quinn Jr and Des Sherlock at the Seven Oaks Hotel Carlow Stages Rally (Ireland).

In Portugal, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 continued to shine in the Madeira Championship at Rali Município de São Vicente. Emanuel Martins and João Nélio Camacho won the RC4 class and the two-wheel-drive classification aboard Clio Rally4 , whilst Tiago Nunes and Nuno Nóbrega secured two double podium finishes for the model. And Décio Perestrelo and Claúdio Gomes took top honours in RC5 with Clio Rally5.

Clio Rally5 also set the pace with Lebanese duo Shadi El Fakih and Joseph Kmeid at the Jordan Rally in the Jordanian and Middle East Rally Championships before their run was cut short. Jairo Pérez and Rafael Cabrera drove their Clio Rally5 to a class victory at Rally Senderos de La Palma (Spain).
