From the Vosges to Finland, the Clio Rally range has again shone on European roads. With class victories, overall podium finishes and Clio Rally6’s international debut, the crews have further added to an already impressive trophy haul.

Clio Trophy France Asphalte

After losing on home soil in the season opener, Paul and Adèle Dachicourt bounced back by overcoming a puncture on their way to taking their maiden victory on the special stages of Rallye Vosges Grand Est. The Fun Meca Sport crew triumphed over Florent and Benjamin Fagnone, who secured their first podium finish, as did the duo of Clément Didier and Théo Jacquemet. The Dachicourts will enter the Rallye Rouergue Rodez Aveyron Occitanie (9–11 July) atop the general classification. Meanwhile, Jérôme Jacquot and Marielle Grandemange continued Clio Rally3’s winning streak in the French Rally Championship.

Austrian Rally Championship

The ET König Rallye powered by Erdbau Peter Hopf hosted round four of the Austrian calendar, as well as the Alpe Adria Cup and Trophy, on the special stages around Judenburg and Fohnsdorf. Günther Knobloch and Erik Fürst were victorious in RC3 in their Clio Rally3. Alessandro Prodorutti and Maurizio Lazzer also took top honours in RC5 aboard their Clio Rally5.

Czech Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 was victorious in RC5 at round three of the Czech calendar, the Agrotec Petronas Rally Hustopeče. Michal Kolář and Jan Kubala proved to be fast and consistent on the tarmac stages, setting the fastest times in their class whilst avoiding the course’s many hazards.

Finnish Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 secured its fourth victory in five starts in the Finnish championship. Previous winners this year, Japan’s Rio Ogata and his Finnish co-driver Mikael Korhonen, returned to the top step of the podium at the SM Jyväskylä Ralli to move up to second in the championship table.

French Rally Cup

In France, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 came out on top with Gaël Tribouillois - Lohan Ranchard and Fabrice Morel - Damien Turquet at Rallye du Gard. Both models enjoyed similar success in Guadeloupe with Enzo Mavounzy - Matthieu Belhacene and Aymeric Montfort - Jérémy Mary at Rallye des Grands-Fonds, as well as in Réunion with Romain Sautron - Anwaraah Sautron and Elona Ginet - Maëva Dupuy at Rallye Petite-Île – Sud-Sauvage. Meanwhile, Clio Rally5 took class honours with Christophe Tramaloni and Patrick Guerrieri at Rallye Nice Jean Behra.

On the regional scene, the range shone at Rallye Vienne et Glane with Romain Moulon - Frédéric Moulon (Rally3), Richard Duranton - Clément Duranton (Rally4) and Baptiste Langlois - Yaël Lamont (Rally5). Clio Rally4 also made its mark with a class victory and an overall podium finish for Laurent and Amélie Zambon at Rallye du Piémont Oloronnais, whilst Clio Rally5 also won with Silvio Cammarota and Eva Dolmazon at Rallye Haute Vallée de la Loire.

And elsewhere

In Italy, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 continued their impressive run of form with Giacomo Guglielmini - Andrea Sarti (Rally3) and Riccardo Verbilli - Simone Raggioli (Rally5) at Rally Appennino Reggiano. More success was found at Rally Valli Ossolane for the crews of Stefano Roncadori - Luca Silvi and Marco Arcifera - Marco Arcifera.

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 also excelled in Belgium, with victories for Olivier Decoene - François Geerlandt as well as Joran Renier - Brian Renier at the Rally van Wervik. The event also marked the international debut of Clio Rally6. Victor Platteeuw and co-driver Kenny Deroo finished fourth in the 2D class, behind three Clio Rally5s.

Over in Portugal, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 enjoyed success with the crews of Emanuel Martins - João Camacho (RC4 & 2WD) and Décio Perestrelo - Guilherme Coelho (RC5) at Rali da Ribeira Brava, part of the Madeira Rally Championship.

Elsewhere in Europe, Clio Rally3 secured a superb overall podium finish with Sebastian Butyński - Łukasz Jastrzębski at the AMG Rally Karkonosze (Poland), whilst Clio Rally5 set the pace with Patrick Brill Clausen at the Landbobanken Rallysprint (Denmark).
