From Clio Rally5’s 33rd victory on the world stage to Clio Rally3’s overall podium finish in Peru, and with further victories in several national championships, the Clio Rally range is enjoying a summer at breakneck speed and standout results !
World Rally Championship
Clio Rally5 secured its 33rd class victory in the FIA World Rally Championship. Giorgos Dodos and Nikos Intzoglou set the fastest time on all 17 timed sectors of the EKO Acropolis Rally Greece. The Halkias Racing Team crew claimed a prestigious victory on home soil and even topped the two-wheel-drive category in this iconic event.
Clio Trophy Canarias
Round three of the Clio Trophy Canarias season saw Noé Armas and Efrain González return to the top of the table. Having finished only sixth on the opening stage, the pair picked up the pace to take the lead at the end of SS4, before going on to win by more than a minute ahead of Walter Delgado and Alejandro Rodríguez. The podium for the Clio Rally5-dedicated event was completed by Julio César Yanes and Yurena Rodríguez.
Belgian Rally Championship
At the Ardeca Ypres Rally, Clio Rally3 triumphed, monopolising the RC3 podium. Dominique Bruyneel and Ward Hanssens finished ahead of Olivier Decoene - François Geerlandt and Benoit Verlinde - Bert Feys. Clio Rally5 did the same in the RC5 class with Mathias Ver Eecke - Nico Hoflack, Charles Perrard - Vincent Varetz and Olivier Maes - Mattice De Boeverie.
On its debut on the Belgian national stage, Clio Rally6 secured a top-five finish in the RC6 class with Ruben Lignel and Lorenz Koether. In the supporting event, Clio Rally3 scored a one-two finish overall. Filip Pyck and Michael Grave won by just 3.2s ahead of Thibaud Mazuin and Samuel Maillen. Joran and Brian Renier also took the RC5 class win in their Clio Rally5.
Danish Rallysprint Championship
The range continued its winning ways in Denmark at the Bundgaards Køreskole Rallysprint. Round three of 2026 saw Carsten Jensen and Michael Fasterholdt win outright in their Clio Rally3. Meanwhile, Clio Rally5 also dominated its class with a one-two finish from the crews of Gert Marboe Jensen and Silas Marboe Bigom, and Lukas Rosenlund Schmidt and Jan Jørgensen.
Peruvian Rally Championship
Renault Clio also shone at Rally Piura, round four of the national calendar. Clio Rally3 won the opening stage before finishing second overall in the event with the Ecuadorian duo of Juan Guerrero and Andrés Carpio, just 20.3 seconds off the winners. Clio Rally5 was not to be outdone, securing victory in the RC5 class with Horacio Cánepa and Ricardo Figueroa.
French Rally Cup
In France, Clio Rally5 was victorious with Quentin Mathey and Anthony Gouin at Rallye des Vins de Chinon et du Véron. On the regional front, Bastien Heron and David Trabuco led a 1-2-3-4 category finish for Clio Rally3 at Rallye de l’Huveaune, where Clio Rally5 also came out on top with Brice Droulin and Guillaume Tapias.
And elsewhere
The fifth-generation Renault Clio continued to set the pace in Italy. Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 won with Giacomo Guglielmini - Andrea Sarti (Rally3), Simone Miano - Daylis María Santana Jacas (Rally5) and Arianna Doriguzzi Breatta - Elena Sica (Women’s class) at Rally Internazionale del Casentino. The same success was replicated at Rally delle Luminarie with Simone Melcarne - Matteo Bello and Antonio Passaseo - Mattia Gravante. Clio Rally5 rounded off this prolific weekend with Mario Miraglia and Salvatore Alessandra at Rally di Caltanissetta.
Clio Rally4 won its class with Vilma Kivenne and Jasmin Heinonen at the PH-Peltiasennus Ralli (Finland). Clio Rally5 secured a one-two finish in the P2-4 class, led by Henrique Azenha and Custódio Fernandes at Rallye Verde Centro Figueiró dos Vinhos (Portugal). Other victories were scored by Daniel and Sandra Wittner at the ADAC RSC / rthb Rallyesprint (Germany) and by Enrique and Jesús José Gutiérrez Acosta at the Rallye de La Vendimia (Spain).
Lastly, worthy of note was the fine performance of Clio Rally3, with Piotr Wiercigroch and Sebastian Wach finishing sixth overall at Rajd Jarociński (Poland), as well as those of Clio Rally5, with José María Barba del Cojo and Carolina Ortiz Pérez Rayón at Rally La Congoja (Mexico) and David Cárdenas and Juan Codinachs at Ral.lisprint Les Corbes Legend (Spain).
