Customer Racing Activities – 2026/#40
The Clio Rally range has once impressed across Europe. From a double podium finish in the WRC to titles in Czech Republic, Denmark and Lithuania, Renault continues to set the pace on tarmac and gravel.
World Rally Championship
At Rally Italia Sardegna, the WRC season finale, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 performed again at the highest level. Clio Rally3 finished second and third in RC3 with Germany’s Timo and Jasmin Weigert and Italy’s Giuseppe Bitti and Giuseppe Pirisinu. Meanwhile, Clio Rally5 claimed its 34th RC5 victory with the local crew of Gian Paolo Moreno Fosci and Angelo Tendas on the gravel stages around Alghero.
Challenge Clio Rally5 Portugal
Luís Caetano and David Monteiro mathematically clinched the Clio Rally5 Challenge title. On the gravel stages of Rally Casinos do Algarve, the duo took their second victory of the year, ahead of Tiago Pereira - Fernando Pereira and Henrique Silva - Fábio Ribeiro. The Leiria native joins Danny Carreira and João Rodrigues on the champions list of the all-Clio Rally5 competition. He also retains the lead in the overall Juniors’ classification heading into the final two rounds of the Portuguese Rally Championship.
Czech Rallysprint Championship
At Rally Vsetín, Clio Rally5 claimed another title on the Czech national rallysprint scene. 2022 and 2025 champion Jiří Hladík secured his third title with the model, finishing second in RC5 alongside co-driver Veronika Teplá. The pair were pipped to the post by their closest rivals, Petr Pražan and Kristýna Hauerlandová, while Jakub Šroubek and Radka Poláková completed another all-Renault podium.
Danish Rally Championship
Renault secured three titles at the Danish season finale. Carsten Jensen and Michael Fasterholdt finished second in the Stoholm Rally to secure the overall title in the Dansk Super Rally, with the RC3 title already sealed. Kim and Tobias Abildgaard made it a double overall podium finish for Clio Rally3. Meanwhile, Oliver Sørensen and Claus Amstrup took top honours in RC5, while Jacob Pallesen and Kasper Pinholt wrapped up the class and the U28 category crowns with Clio Rally5.
Lithuanian Rally Championship
Clio Rally3 won a title in Lithuania at the season finale, the Lietuva Rally. Atop the leaderboard heading into the gravel special stages around Mažeikiai, the Polish duo Artur Długosz and Mateusz Martynek finished runner-up to secure the LARČ3 crown and, for the first time, finished in the overall top ten.
Slovakian Rally Championship
The range also turned heads at the Prešov Rally, where Tomáš Polovka and Daniel Turcsányi finished second in the two-wheel-drive category and eighth overall with Clio Rally4. Meanwhile, Stanislav Zeman and Ján Konfal, having already secured the title in their class, won again aboard Clio Rally5, while finishing third in CEZ3. The season will close at the Zemplén Rally (6–8 November).
Spanish Gravel Rally Championship
Jordi Nualart and Daniel Rivera led from start to finish to win Clio Rally4’s third Spanish championship victory of the season at the Cáceres Rally. The pair won by over a minute and finished ninth overall. The crew will battle for the two-wheel-drive trophy at the final round, the Ciudad de Granada Rally (30–31 October).
French Rally Cup
Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 set the pace in France, with Matthieu Laussel - Jordan Aubert and Charles Charrier - Maxime Machabert at the Rallye National de l’Ardèche. The same double win was achieved at the regional level, with Gabriel Raynaud - Benjamin Gary and Robin Duarte - Léna Tardieu at Rallye du Midi Toulousain, as well as Fabrice Martin - Romain Gavoye and Aymeric Moser - Mattéo Daval at Rallye du Pays de Montbéliard.
At Rallye des Corbières, Cyril Valentin and Luc Dumas won RC5 in Clio Rally5. Meanwhile, Clio Rally5 and Clio Rally6 led the way at Rallye de la Croisette with the crews of Adrien Maffre - Lionel Giorsetti and Maxime Cousin - Luna Derognard, and at Rallye Le Mans with Franck Belouin - Nicolas Tiercelin and David Lekeu - Florentin Lekeu.
Greek Tarmac Rally Cup
Less than a week after its triumph in the Greek Gravel Rally Cup, Clio Rally3 made its mark on Greek tarmac. At the Rally Evoikou, Efstratios Andreadakis and Giorgos Polichronopoulos beat Rally2 and WRC cars on two of the four special stages to finish second overall and first in RC3. Clio Rally5 also won its class with Giorgos Kourniatis and Dimitris Kyparissas.
And elsewhere
Mika Karppanen and Aino Riipinen finished on the MRF Trophy podium with Clio Rally3 on the gravel stages of the Puumala Ralli in Finland, finishing second in the 4WD category in their F-Cup campaign.
Clio Rally5 shone in Belgium with Jonathan Georges - Julien Libioul and Gilles Dethiege - Quentin Sondervorst at the Critérium Jean-Louis Dumont. It also succeeded in Spain with Hilario and Dario Medina at the Atogo Rallysprint, and with Jordi Vilardell and Alan De Tena at Rally Les Masies de Voltregà. Lastly, it won in RC5 and secured a top-ten overall finish with Oliver Selmikeit and Claudia Nicolaus at the ADAC Nibelungen Rallysprint (Germany).
