Clio Rally3 continues its irrefutable momentum in Europe, with new gold medals in several countries, while Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 continue to excel on all types of roads.
Cyprus Rally Championship
After numerous victories last year on the Cypriot special stages, Clio Rally3 returned to the island with the same success, as Michalis Posedias and co-driver Savvas Laos won at the Tour of Cyprus. Third overall and only beaten by crews competing in Rally2, the duo led a 1-2 finish for the model in its class, completed by Yiangos Yiangou and Panagiotis Georgiou. Also in contention for a solid result in Nicosia, Andreas Psaltis and Andreas Chrysostomou saw their hopes vanish when they went off the road on SS5.
French Rally Cup
Clio Rally3 continued its impressive run in France with another class win and a top five finish overall for Gérard Delorme and Sophie Bert at Rallye de la Haute Vallée d’Azergues. Christophe and Hugo Monnin also led Clio Rally5 to the class win there while Frédéric and Thibaut Misiek scored a stage win aboard their Clio Rally4.
Meanwhile, Clio Rally3 swept the top three places in its class at the Rallye Terre La Tour Saint-Christol with the crews Nicolas Roque - Maxime Legrand, Christophe Rocard - Isabelle Galmiche and Loïc Ducastel - Théo Julien. Clio Rally5 also set the pace in this new event with Batiste Lambert-Pantalacci and Tom Besson.
And elsewhere
Clio Rally3 secured two overall victories last weekend with Leevi Lassila and Juha Lummaa at the Nisula Forest Rally (Finland) and with Isak Sjökvist and Simon Lindström at the Kranbolaget-pokalen (Sweden).
Clio Rally3 also dominated its class with Maurizio Gabella and Sabrina Roccati at the Ronde del Canavese (Italy), where Clio Rally4 secured a top-five finish in the Junior category with Simone Silotto and Fabio Bragagnolo, and Clio Rally5 took a class win with Gabriele Priante and Mattia Pastorino.
Meanwhile, Jordi Nualart and Daniel Rivera won at the Ral. li del Trepat, the opening round of the Catalan Gravel Rally Championship in their Clio Rally4. Clio Rally5 was not to be outdone, with German Leal and Carmen Moreno finishing third overall at the Rallycrono Ciudad de Córdoba (Spain) and two class wins for the duos Manuel Schneider - Marcel Eichenauer and Julia Schneider - Andrea Selzer at the ADAC Welfen Winter-Rallye (Germany).
