The Sandero R.S. breaks records in Brazil !
The seventh meeting of the Renault Sport Track Days was held this past Sunday in Brazil. Nearly 200 Sandero R.S. 2.0s spent the day putting in the laps on the legendary São Paulo Interlagos circuit… Never in the history of these get-togethers have this many enthusiasts attended !
For this always spectacular event, 192 Sandero R.S. 2.0 owners met up at the track that has hosted the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix, which was closed to the public for the occasion.
Coming from all over Brazil, the owners took turns on the track in 20 minute sessions. Between two sessions, the exchanges were going well around the many activities put in place by Renault Brazil or with potential buyers invited to get to know the Sandero R.S. 2.0 better in extreme conditions.
Two well-known drivers were on hand to head this large field of owners : Ana Beatriz, who got her racing start in Formula Renault before going on to become a race winner in Indy Lights and competing in stock cars, as well as Ricardo Maurício, who has a collection of titles in South America.
To conclude this unforgettable day, both got behind the wheel to indulge in their biggest passion, putting in fast laps with enthusiasts and prospects in search of thrills by their side.
